Just had a new armchair and footstool made for one of our lovely clients who desperately needed a new armchair that was comfortable and ergonomically correct for her and her health issues. We also recovered the husbands chair to tie the two together. As they were such different chair styles I encouraged the clients to go for different fabrics so that it didn't look like they were trying to match them using the same fabric.  Reports are constantly being published that online sales are on the rise in Australia and we certainly have to agree, well for some items at least. CATC students visit Red Works

We had a wonderful day on Friday  8 March with visits from two groups of very enthusiastic students from CATC - Commercial Arts Training College. They are doing their first decorating project to style a new house for sale and they came to Red Works ...to find out a little bit more about a day in the life of an Interior Decorator and some of the products/ services we offer.

 It was great fun and the students asked some Fantastic questions - I loved having them come in to Red Works and I know that there are going to be some Hot Decorators/ Designers/ Visual Merchandisers coming out of these groups, for sure !

 

Loved meeting you all, good luck with your project and for the remainder of your course, keep that wonderful enthusiam up and enjoy !
